LAHORE: The Cantt court magistrate sent Shazia torture-cum-murder accused Advocate Naeem and his accomplice Amanat to judicial lock-up for 14 days here on Tuesday.

The Defense-A police produced Naeem and his alleged accomplice before the court amidst tight security. The court was requested by the police to grant 14 days remand of Naeem and six days remand of Amanat as per legal requirement. They said the investigation officer (IO) had not yet received chemical examination and histopathology’s report. Later, the court sent the accused to judicial lock-up and issued directions to produce the accused before the court on February 23.

Meanwhile, advocate Naeem and Amanat submitted a bail application in the district and sessions court here on Tuesday. District and Sessions Judge Shafique Ur Rehman has summoned the police concerned to produce Naeem along with record on February10 (today).
