Two former officials of the country’s premier intelligence agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), and a freelance journalist have gone missing in suspicious circumstances from Kohat, reported a private TV channel.
Family sources of the missing ISI officials Col (r) imam and Squadron Leader (r) Khalid Khawaja revealed that they were assisting the freelance journalist Asad Qureshi who was making a documentary on Taliban and All Qaeda.
They were on way back to their homes after having a meeting with the Taliban leadership in the tribal area when unknown people allegec11 picked them up. It is yet not clear who kidnapped them.
It is pertinent to mention that both the former ISI officials enjoyed close relations with Taliban and All Qaeda leadership.
