THIS is apropos of Cyril Almeida’s article ‘An election, please’ (June 3), in which he asserts that “democracy, however imperfect, is better than the boys and their sidekicks.”
Five years ago, I also used to believe that but now I think a corrupt and incompetent democracy is the worst government.
