Bamakharama vows to make PTCL best utility in region

KARACHI, June 08 2006: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) President and Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Ali Bamakharama emphasised his commitment to make PTCL the best telecom company in the region. While addressing a high-level meeting held at the PTCL headquarters here, he said the PTCL would continue to provide telecom facilities to its customers at cheap rates, according to a statement here on Tuesday. He emphasised to redress customer complaints in terms of service provisioning and service quality.

Bamakharama said Pakistan was developing very fast in the telecommunication field but still there was a great potential for technological development in this region. The PTCL President said since Gwadar City and its adjoining areas were developing fast, the President desired that telecommunication network be enhanced and the requirements of the multination companies must be paid attention and provide them immediately connection on demand.

EVP (Ops) south gave detailed presentation about the performance of the South Zone while EVP Development south gave presentation about the development activities in South Zone. Later, the President visited upcoming contact centre in the city, which will provide one window facility.
