NEW DELHI, (AFP): Delhi police have extended their ban on Pakistan Television for another two months depriving again the TV viewers to see dramas and other entertainment programmes which are popular in India.

The order, issued by the Commissioner of Police, Ajai Raj Sharma, said PTV is “disseminating false and baseless information on the Kargil issue and carrying out anti-India propaganda, which may seriously affect peace and harmony and safety of public order.

The order is to come into force from August 8 and would remain October 6, unless withdraw earlier.
