Bodies exhumed, post-mortem conducted

MIRPURKHAS, Dec 23: A special medical board, headed by Dr Saleem Raza Memon, conducted the post-mortem examination of the bodies of two women who had been tortured to death by an ‘exorcist’ after exhuming their bodies in Mir Khan Behrani graveyard, 18 km from Kot Ghulam Mohammad, on Tuesday.

The medical board including its members police surgeon Dr Anwar Memon, Dr Akbar Qazi, Dr Abdul Rahim and lady doctor Naheed Memon got samples of the bodies of Sakina, wife of Basheer alias Mir Khan, and Fatima, widow of Ghulam Nabi.

Dr Memon told journalists that preliminary report of the autopsy would be issued within two days and a final report would be issued after receiving the chemical report from the laboratory.

The two women had been tortured to death by a fake spiritual healer and his accomplices.
