CD shop blown up in Charsadda

PESHAWAR: A CD shop was bombed on Saturday in Charsadda District near Mohmand Agency. “A total of three shops were damaged in the blast,” said a district administration official. However, no casualties were reported.

“It happened in Purana Bazaar where a number of shopkeepers sell music and film CDs,” said the official. He, however, gave no additional details. Charsadda is hometown of two political heavyweights – Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali Khan and Qaumi Watan Party President Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao –experiences militancy due to its close proximity to Mohmand Agency.
