RAJANPUR, April 25: Around two dozen attackers, who introduced themselves as `Taliban Cammandos’, burnt several CD shops in Shahwali, some 50 kilometres from Rojhan, on Friday.
The attackers, led by Shana Cammando, also thrashed the shopkeepers and left the place with a word of warning that they would be killed if they continued the ‘anti-Shariah business’. The attackers were laced with rocket launchers and Kalashnikovs. Rajanpur police said they had no information about the incident.
It may be mentioned that Shahwali is just 20 kilometres from Basti Sudwani, the hometown of Maulana Abdul Aziz, who is doing in jail after the Lal Masjid incident. His brother Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi who was killed in the operation was also buried there.
