LARKANA, June 08 2006: The Sindh Chief minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim announced compensation of Rs 0.3 million on the death of KTN television channels camera man, Munir Ahmed Sangi in Larkana on May 07. The CM announced that a job would be provided to one relative of the deceased in the Sindh government. He also announced a plot for the heirs of Sangi.

The CM along with Sindh Ministers, Syed Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi, Sardar Nadir Akmal Leghari, Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi , Mir Hassan Khoso visited the residence of late Sangi and offered fateha. The CM announced the possession of Journalists Colony. The Colony will be called Shaheed Munir Ahmed Sangi Journalists Colony, Larkana. The CM ordered the suspension of Dr. Akhtar Daiyo MLO CMC Hospital, for delaying the medico legal report of Sangi and for negligence in official duty.
