Special programme to be held at CPNE Secretariat.

KARACHI: The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors Society (Registered) will mark the World Press Freedom Day on May 2 by organising a seminar on press freedom.

According to CPNE’s Secretary-General Aamir Mehmood, the special programme will be held at CPNE Secretariat at Abdullah Haroon Road, Saddar, Karachi at 3:30 pm. The seminar, he said, will be attended by Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon, senior editors, columnists and journalists and office-bearers of various media organisations, including the South Asian Free Media Association, Pakistan Cable Operators Association and Pakistan Photographers Association.
