On Defence and Martyrs Day, tribal youth, seminary students and minority community representatives visited Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar, where they paid tribute to the nation’s martyrs and held an interactive session with Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, Inspector General of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North. The participants were briefed on the Frontier Corps’ history, sacrifices and counterterrorism efforts, and they discussed the security situation and public cooperation with security institutions.

Major General Sartaj addressed their queries, emphasising the need for vigilance against misinformation, fake news and hostile propaganda. He stressed the importance of verifying information through credible sources and discouraged reliance on unverified social media content. He also underscored the role of informed and responsible youth in promoting social harmony and national unity.
