LAHORE: Daily Times’ cartoonist, Muhammad Zahoor, was recently honoured with the Best Cartoon Award by the All Pakistan Newspapers Society at the recent 18th APNS Journalist Awards for 2005-06, the newspaper has learnt.

Along with many other accolades, Zahoor has won this award four times. He also participated in the first-ever Himal South Asia Regional Cartoon Congress in November 2008 where his cartoon was chosen for the Top 20 Editor’s Pick list. He also won the Special Jury Award at the noted Maya Kamath Memorial Awards for Excellence in Cartooning in 2008.
