PESHAWAR: Students, who were protesting against the death of their fellow in a road accident, here on Friday manhandled a Daily Times photographer and tried to snatch his camera when he was taking photographs of their protest demonstration.

Protesting against the death of their fellow, enraged students set the bus (which, according to police, crushed their fellow student to death) on fire in Soekarno Square, Khyber Bazaar and were beating the driver when staff photographer with Daily Times Peshawar Bureau Zafar Goraya photographed them. The irate students manhandled him and tried to snatch his camera.
