OUR Smart TV connected with our DSL on telephone number 36618197 has been non-functional for more than two months. In spite of several complaints at 1213 no one has paid any attention.

To further lodge the complaint, I asked for the telephone numbers of the Executive Engineer of my area, PRO or any other competent authority from 1217, but to date they have failed to give me their correct numbers.

The Minister for Telecommunications or senior authorities of the telephone department can verify that in 80 per cent of cases a wrong number is supplied.

We pay Rs500 per month towards the smart TV connection, besides the bill. Of what use is it if it remains out of order for months?

I hope that senior officials in the department look into this complaint and do the needful as soon as possible.
