Girl gang-raped for days

LAYYAH, April 23: A 15-year-old girl who was kidnapped on April 17 from Chak 125-A called out for help in the Layyah city on Saturday when her alleged captors were shifting her to an undisclosed location. At this, the alleged kidnappers left her and fled from the scene.

“H” said Imtiaz, Muhammad Iqbal and Muneer Eliani had kidnapped her from the outside of her house in Chak 125-A in the Thal Development Authority in a car. She said her captors had detained her at a deserted house and gang-raped her for four days. She said the accused were transporting her in a car to another place. When they were passing through the Layyah city, she saw one of her relatives and called out for help. At this, the accused threw her out of the car and fled from the scene.

Raheem Bukhsh, alleged raped girl’s father, appealed to senior police officials for an inquiry into the matter and punishment for culprits. Police registered a case and started investigation.
