GUJRANWALA: Unidentified people allegedly raped a teenaged girl and later stabbed her to death during a robbery in Rajkot locality in Dhullay police precincts here on Tuesday.

The 15-year-old’s family later placed her body on Gondlanwala Road and threw traffic out of gear for four hours.

The girl `R’ was alone at her house when the outlaws whose number was yet to be ascertained stormed it. They collected Rs300,000 and valuables from the house, raped the girl before stabbing her.

Later, the family held a demonstration on Gondlanwala Road and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.

City SP Malik Awais and other officers rushed to the spot and assured the demonstrators that the rapists-cum-killers would be arrested soon on which the protesters dispersed.
