SIALKOT: Human Rights Commission South Asia has strongly condemned terrorists attacks at Ahmadis’ worship places in Lahore and asked the members of the civil society to raise voice against this brutal and barbaric act. The government should provide security and protection to the minorities. In a joint statement, Chairman HR Commission, John Erickson and member Sohail Akhtar said Islam is a religion of peace and killing of innocent people was prohibited in all the religions.
They urged the government to ensure the religious freedom of everyone living in the country. The persons involved in Lahore incident were the enemies of Pakistan and humanity and government should take effective security measures for protecting worship places of every religion being practised in Pakistan, they demanded.
