Pirbhat Women Development Society arranged the protest in connection with its protest plan in five districts. PPP leader Jam Saqi, human rights activist Nasreen Shakeel Pathan, Wahab Pandrani, Zeb Mallah, Ambreen Nawaz Sheikh, Bakhtawar Jam and others observed the hunger strike. They demanded of the government to take measures to stop honour killings. They said efforts should be made to prevent tribal clashes.
