SUKKUR, October 25 2005: A woman was gunned down by her husband, over the pretext of Karo-Kari, in village Muhammad Samoon near Kashmore, late on Sunday October 23.

Accused Bukhtiar Ahmed suspected that his wife Allah Bachai, 29, had illicit relations with some other man of the area and on last night while she was asleep, he along with his brother, Mukhtiar Ahmed, shot her dead and fled. Akhtiar Ahmed, father of both the accused has registered an FIR against his sons, but no arrest was reported.
