Hyderabad district police integrated their 24/7 emergency 15 Helpline with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to facilitate reporting cybercrime complaints.

According to a police spokesperson, citizens can now report cyber harassment, online fraud and data theft through the helpline. Complaints received through the system are automatically forwarded to the relevant NCCIA zone for further action.

The NCCIA director general said helpline systems across all provinces and major cities have been integrated with the agency’s system to improve coordination between local police and the national agency, ensuring a prompt response to cybercrime complaints.

The initiative aims to make reporting cybercrime more accessible and improve the handling of complaints and legal action against alleged offenders.
