Islamabad: Anchor Imran Riaz Khan has reportedly been taken off air by Samaa TV.

Although the anchor has not commented on the reports of his removal, several informed journalists in Islamabad have confirmed his termination.

Imran Riaz Khan is known as a staunch supporter of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Samaa TV was recently purchased by former PTI leader Aleem Khan, who recently revolted against Imran Khan and joined the opposition camp.

A journalist said that despite his difference with the management, Imran Riaz Khan has reached an agreement with Samaa TV and might return to the screen soon.
