Journalist attacked

SHEIKHUPURA- A journalist Abdul Hameed Bhatti, ex-President Sheikhupura Press Club was attacked and seriously injured by four unknown

persons here on April 10, 2003.

He was reportedly going on Bhabki Road when four unknown persons attacked him with hatchets and inflicted severe injuries on him. He was immediately rushed to the District Head-quarters Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable. Local journalists have strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the attack.
