Green media awards ceremony organized by Tetra Pak was held at a local hotel on Wednesday. Secretary general All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) was the chief guest for the occasion.

The ceremony was held to acknowledge the efforts of journalists who have tried highlighting different environmental hazards such as recycling, industrial pollution, desertification, water resource management, pollution, waste management and global warming, faced by the country.

The winners of first and second prizes in each category were given a cash prize of Rs50, 000 and Rs25, 000 respectively. Following is the list of award winners who were given the Green media awards:
