QUETTA – Journalists staged a walkout from the Press Gallery of the Balochistan Assembly on Saturday against the police torture on the cameraman of a private TV channel in Lahore and derogatory remarks passed by Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul- Haq.

Later, Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani and provisional minister
Robina Man came out of the House and held talks with the journalists during which President Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) Abdul Khaliq Rind appraised the chief minister about their reservations.

Expressing their solidarity with media men, Raisani and Robina termed the use of brute force and offensive language against the values of the society.
