NAWABSHAH, August 16 2006: A young woman and her alleged paramour murdered on the pretext of Karo-Kari in the village of Chanda Sindh near Daulatpur were buried after their post-mortem. Liaquat Ali Rind, brother of Hooran, in the Pabjo police limits, allegedly murdered the woman, Hooran, and Aijaz Mahar. The police on the complaint of Dr Allah Bux Mahar registered a murder case against Rind. Her cousin received the body of Hooran after the postmortem examination. The alleged killer later surrendered himself to the police along with the bloodstained hatchet used as a weapon for the double murder.
