The Lahore High Court (LHC) banned video recording, photography and TikTok content creation across its premises, including courtrooms, corridors, waiting areas and offices, under a circular authorised by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum and issued by Registrar Abdul Rahim.

The ban applies to lawyers, police officers, journalists, litigants and visitors, except in a designated area for journalists.

The notification warns that mobile phones and other devices used for unauthorised recording may be confiscated and violators may face legal action. Administrative officers, the public relations officer, research and reference officer, bar associations and security authorities have been directed to ensure strict enforcement.
