A woman registered a case against her husband for forcibly subjecting her to sodomy and torching her on her refusal to do so. The incident occurred in Chakiwara police limits.
Ms Samreen r/o Gulistan Colony stated that she had married Abdul Qadeer r/o Chakiwara in July 1998 and she gave birth to three children during their wedlock. After the marriage several disputes occurred between them but were settled.
However, after few years of marriage her husband forced her to have sodomy with him but she always refused.
But on March 3 this year she fell ill and her husband gave her some medicines in the presence of her children and went away.
After sometime she got unconscious and was shifted to hospital.
The doctors present there informed her brother that it was a police case and called the police, however, on the request of her husband and father-in-law she refused to give any statement to the police.
After getting treatment she returned home and after a week her husband came and tried to commit sodomy with her and threatened that if she refused he would burn her with acid and he forcibly sodomised her several times.
Few days before, Qadeer again tried to commit sodomy which she refused, as a
result Qadeer torched her cloths and she immediately ran into the bathroom and saved herself.
Afterwards she filed a complaint in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge South for registering a case against her husband. Consequently, the Chakiwara police registered a case against Qadeer on the court orders.
