THATTA, October 01 2005: An under investigation prisoner Muhammad Ayub, s/o Bachal Mallah, died in police custody in the lockup of Gharo police station on Thursday September 29 night. Police said the man committed suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom of the lockup. However, the relatives charged that he was tortured to death by police.
