SUKKUR: A man killed his wife over a domestic dispute in the village of Pir Bux Gabole on Thursday.

Mirpur Mathelo police quoted Naziran Gabole, mother of victim Noor Jehan Gabole, as saying that her daughter was married to Essa Gabole three years ago.

Her son-in-law Essa used to torture Noor Jehan on one pretext or the other.

She alleged that on Thursday, Essa, his brother Moosa and accomplices Bashir and Jabbar chopped the nose and lips of her daughter and shot her dead. Police shifted the body to a local hospital for autopsy. Later the body was handed over to Naziran. No case was registered till filing of this report.
