KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Shazia Marri said that the present government is doing all that it can to fight terrorism, which is Pakistan’s internal war.
She said this while talking to UAE’s four-member media delegation at the Sindh Information Department on Saturday. The delegation comprised of Al Bian newspaper’s Feraskilan, Gulf News’ Ashfaq Ahmed, Khaleej Times’ Mark T Townsend and Institute of Strategic Studies’ Fakhir.
Marri said that the present government will not compromise over law and order. She hoped that the next US leadership will have a realistic approach towards the role of Pakistan in the war against terrorism and that Pakistan will be given help and support. She said that Pakistan’s situation is a result of the unrealistic approach of non-democratic regimes. She called upon the world to respect Pakistan’s institutions and government.
