KHAIRPUR: Radio is important and fast source to provide news to the people in electronic media.

This was said by a broadcaster and senior editor of radio Pakistan Khairpur while addressing a two-day seminar on journalism at Allama II Qazi hail Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur.

He said that electronic and print media were paying important role to provide news especially truth-oriented matter, which is its own self is a standard.

He said radio Pakistan was broadcasting news and other programs in provincial, regional languages as well as Bality (Gillgat Balotistan), Kashimiri and Sheena languages regularly. He also informed about the various aspects for the preparation of news.

On the occasion Chairman of Media centre SALU Professor Taj Man, Fida Hussain Jatoi and others also ad dressed. A large numbers of teachers, students, and other participated in seminar.
