KARACHII – Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) held a networking session with Mark Ellison, Managing Director, Texas Emerging Technology Fund, Faisal Amin, President Texas Trade Council (TTG) and the US Honorary Investment Consular, said a board statement.
“The purpose of the event was to identify opportunities for investments, technical partnerships, international business development and collaborative research with Pakistani companies and educational institutions,” it added.
Federal Secretary for Information Technology, Farrakh Qayyum, was the chief guest. The event was attended by various businessmen and leading IT professionals.
The PSEB signed an MoU with TTC during the event and said the memorandum aims to promote trade in the area of IT between Pakistan and Texas, establish mutually beneficial educational and industry finance programmes and carry out matchmaking activities.
‘TTC helps Texas-based business organisations to expand into foreign markets and assist in recruiting foreign companies and investors”, added the statement.
The PSEB also announced it would be organizing a high level CEO Forum during ITCN Asia on August 10. ITCN Asia has been the largest IT, telecom and media trade show in the region for the past seven years.
