LAHORE – MMA MP A lhsanullah Waqas Monday opÂposed ‘Punjab Prevention of Domestic Violence Bill’.
He presented his point of view on the Bill before tHe Punjab AsÂsembly standing committee on Home Affairs meeting held unÂder the chairmanship of Rai .
Ahsan Raza Kharal. The MP A believed that the Bill would cause increase in separation cases due to police involvement in the famÂily affairs. He was of the view that the Muslim Laws already provided sufficient measures to prevent domestic violence.
