GUJRAT: Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has said that American newspapers are speculating about extension of drone strikes in Pakistan and that Times Square car bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad has done no good to Muslims.

Speaking to reporters here, Mukhtar said non-state actors should not be allowed to sabotage peace in Pakistan and rest of the world and they should be severely punished for sabotage activities. He said like Pakistani TV anchors American newspapers were propagating about extension in drone attacks in Pakistan. He said Shahzad added to the problems of the Muslims living in America and Europe. On the war against terror, Mukhtar said no timeframe could be given for end to any unconventional war, as Sri Lanka took 26 years to defeat Tamil Tigers.
