DADU: Police found a scarred body of a local journalist Ghulam Rasool Birhamani at a deserted place, two kilometres from the town on Monday morning.
Birhamani, 30, who worked for Daily Sindhu Hyderabad as a reporter had been missing since Sunday night.
Medical superintendent of Johi taluka hospital Dr Mohammad Hashim Thahim said after examining the body that the journalist’s death was caused by fatal injuries to the head because he had found torture marks on the head.
SHO of Wahi Pandhi police station said that police were investigating and collecting evidences.
Journalists in Johi, Dadu, Sehwan, Mehar took out procession to voice protest against the murder of their colleague and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
