Nadra to provide new voters’ list to EC by March 15

ISLAMABAD: On the order of the Supreme Court, National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) will prepare new computerised voter lists as soon as possible on priority basis and provide these lists in those constituencies where by-polls will be held.

Comprehensive computerised voter lists could not be prepared for new general elections by February 23 deadline. Nadra will provide list of 80.4 million voters to the Election Commission by March 15. Hundred percent pictures of the voters will be printed in the new voter lists. As man as 5,000 computer experts and 5,000 experts of the private companies are busy day and night in preparing new computerised voter lists.
