ISLAMABAD, JANUARY 6 (APP): The journalists covering the National Assembly proceedings on Tuesday staged a token walkout to register their resentment against robbery in the house of a senior newsman, Azhar Bhatti in Islamabad and manhandling of three staffers of daily Ausaf by a Municipal Corporation contractor in Rawalpindi.

Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture Abdul Sattar Lalika and Parliamentary Secretary on Information, Anwar ul Haq Ramay visited the press lounge and assured the newsmen that the government would take all possible steps to nab the culprits.

After the assurance they returned to the gallery.
