LAHORE: A civil judge of Lahore has issued notice for February 15 to local businessman Attique-ur-Rehman claiming husband of film star Meera in a “jactitation of marriage suit” against him.

In her suit, Meera alleged that Attique managed a fake Nikahnama showing her as his wife only to loot her property. She had no relation with Attique and he was blackmailing her by claiming to be her husband. She prayed to the court to cancel the Nikahnama possessed by respondent Attique by declaring it null and void and initiate proceedings against him according to law.
