SRINAGAR – A group of Pakistani journalists will visit the Indian controlled portion of Kashmir for the first time since the dispute over it erupted in 1948, a newspaper chief said in September 27.
The contingent of 18 journalists will spend five days in Kashmir starting on October 3, said Kashmir Times Group chairman Ved Bhasin, who is one of the trip organizers.
