PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Academy of Letters Peshawar chapter (PALP) and local poets on Monday arranged a condolence meeting to mourn the recent sudden demise of renowned Pushto poet and writer Qurban Ali Murad.
PALP Resident Director Prof Dr Mohammad Azam Azam presided over the meeting, in which he paid tribute to the late poet for his remarkable literary contributions and called his works as “precious assets” of Pushto literature. Murad was president of the Pushto Adabi Tolanay and population welfare deputy director.
The meeting offered Fateha for the departed soul of Qurban Ali Murad and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family members.
