PESHAWAR, Dec 24: Two CD shops were blown up in Surezai area of the city early on Monday.
A police official said that threatening letters had been sent by unidentified people to owners of the CD centres a few weeks ago asking them to close their business or face the consequences.
The Badhber police said the affected shop-owners, Gauhar Ali and Taj Rehman, had not nominated the suspects yet. They said the bombs exploded before dawn.
A case against unidentified persons was registered.
