PML-N moves NA against ban on Geo Super

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly Secretariat against ban on Geo Super by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra).

PML-N MNAs Mrs Nisar Tanveer, Rana Mahmoodul Hassan, Shireen Arshad, Raja Asad, Wasim Akhtar and others submitted the adjournment motion. The adjournment motion stated: “it is clear now that independent media is intolerable for the government”, adding that “curbs on Geo Super is an attempt to deprive masses from recreational activities”. It further stated that the issue must be discussed in the National Assembly.
