HYDERABAD: Lalla Rehman Samoon joint editor daily Ibrat, Ansar Naqvi of Jang Groupe, Junaid Khanzada of Express and Satrami Maheshwari were unanimously elected as president, general secretary, joint secretary and treasurer of the Hyderabad Press Club at the annual election of the club held here on Sunday.

Noted columnist, Zaheer Ahmed was elected the vice-president.

A ten member governing body also elected in which Altaf Koti of Riyasat, Hamid Shaikh Awam, Mohammad Jaffar Memon Tameer-e-Sindh, Mohmmad Liaqat Aftab, Nazeer Soomro Dua’a (photographer), Niaz Panhwar Kawish, Rasheed Rajar Koshish, Saeed Afzal Kawish, Zameer Shaikh Muslim and Ismail Haroon (associate class) were also elected.
