KARACHI: The administration and employees of the Pakistan Television corporation have condoled the death of the senior producer and controller of PTV, Aun Mohammad Rizvi, who become target of terrorism in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
According to a press release faxed by the PTV Karachi centre on Thursday, the employees of the PTV have paid tributes to the services rendered to PTV by the late producer. They recalled that he joined the PTV in 1966 and his popular programme from the Karachi centre has been Kasauti.
Zeena Ba Zeena was also produced by him from this centre. Aun Mohammad Rizvi was an expert in planning and producing religious and literary programmes. He served PTV in various capacities. These included his post as senior producer, deputy controller programmes, controller programmes, and general manager educational television.
The television employees have stated that his services in all these capacities will always be remembered.
The PTV chairman, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Managing director Yousaf Baig Mirza, all directors, controllers and employees have prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
