Systems Limited attends P@SHA conference

KARACHI, August 30 2006: Systems Limited, Pakistan’s leading IT company participated in Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) National BPO-ITES Conference held in Lahore. The BPO-ITES Conference in its inaugural session was a resounding success as prominent people associated with the BPO-ITES industry took part in it.

The global outsourcing market has grown from $570 billion in 2002 to an estimated $1.2 trillion in 2006. Of the top 10 BPO destinations in the world, five are in Asia with the major Asian providers being India, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Pakistan. Representatives from the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in IT and IT enabled services sector of the country spoke at the conference organised by P@SHA.

“We are not looking at competing with India, but we definitely want to create our own space in the global outsourcing business by trying to tell the global corporations, that alternate options are available in the region. They must look at Pakistan as a possible outsourcing destinations in Asia,” said Jehan Ara, President P@SHA on the occasion.-PR
