KARACHI, August 30 2006: Ufone has launched a new value added service ‘Phone Saver’, offering peace of mind to its eight million customers by facilitating them in retrieving all their important contact numbers if accidentally deleted or lost. Ufone is the first operator in South Asia to launch such service, maintaining the precedence of being first in innovation.

According to details, users can save all their contacts in a personal secure account created on the Ufone network. All they need to do is to write (handset model) in an sms and send it to 400. The contacts will be saved in a personal account via GPRS/Sync, which could be retrieved at any time by the user according to their needs. The user would get a message via sms to verify that the numbers have been saved.-PR
