The body of an unidentified woman was found near the Malir Cantonment area on Friday.
Police said that the body was found at a desolate place in bushes within the remit of the Malir Cantt police station. They said that the woman sustained a head injury and it appeared that she was hit by some sharp-edged weapon.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Later, it was moved to the Edhi morgue for want of identification.
