SUKKUR: A woman was shot dead by her husband on the pretext of Karo-Kari in village Jamal Brohi, in Sultankot police station jurisdiction, district Shikarpur, on late Thursday night. According to reports, accused Mir Hazar Jaffery suspected his wife Zariat Khatoon had illicit relations with his cousin Sharbat Jaffery. He opened fire on her, killing her on the spot, and fled.
