SUKKUR: A man shot dead his cousin’s wife on the pretext of Karo Kari in Khairpur. Police said one Peeral Jaghirani shot dead his cousin’s wife, Jamila, for maintaining illicit relations with a man in village Chattan Shah in the jurisdiction of the Pir Jo Goth police.

In the firing incident, his brother Deedar received injuries. Later, the accused surrendered himself before the police and confessed to killing the woman over illicit relations. Police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital, Khairpur, where after a delay of seven hours, a post-mortem was conducted by the lady doctor.
