LAHORE: For better understanding of the budget-making process, economic reporting and result oriented criticism there is a dire need to improve the reporting skills of economic journalists.

Facilitator and trainer of a one-day workshop Asad Hussain said this on Tuesday. The workshop was jointly organised by CIPE and LEJA. Workshop was focused on identifying key challenges for print and electronic media journalists while reporting economic stories and the concept of budget-making process and key areas for reporting interesting stories from the budget document.
